Senanayake.
Wajira Nalinda Senanayake is a Sri Lankan construction and property development professional with more than two decades of experience across residential, hospitality, commercial and industrial projects. Starting in site supervision, his work has grown to include planning, contractor coordination, labour management, construction operations and complex project delivery. From intimate boutique properties to large industrial facilities, his career has been defined by practical knowledge and hands-on involvement.
Tharu IE
Working with Taru Management / Nyne Hotels, Wajira managed construction and project operations across coastal villas, boutique hotels and residential properties. He coordinated day-to-day site activity, supervised construction work and worked with project teams to deliver each property in line with the company’s requirements and standards, bringing practical oversight to both guest spaces and supporting accommodation.
Tritech Engineers
At Tritech Engineers, Wajira supervised civil works across manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings and essential site infrastructure, including projects associated with Nestlé Lanka and Litro Gas. His work covered production buildings, utilities and institutional spaces, combining hands-on site supervision with safety responsibilities on selected projects.
Tharu IE
During his first period with Tharu IE, Wajira worked in site supervision across boutique hospitality properties, including Balapitiya Beach House, The River House, Tamarind Hill and Lake Lodge. He supported construction and renovation coordination on site, developing the practical understanding of workmanship and day-to-day site operations that would inform his later project management work.
